The Crescent fellowship has a large number of people who, while young at heart, have reached retirement age. However we believe that there is no such thing as retirement in the Christian life. Many of our older members remain active in our outreach to foreign nationals, for example, and in the practical business of co-ordinating Church life.
On the first and third Tuesday afternoon of each month, the ladies operate a friendship centre for older women in the community around the church.The programme for Spring 2011 can be seen below.
The Friendship Centre meets from 2:30pm - 3:45pm.
