Elijah and Elisha: Call to a Runaway Society
The Northern kingdom of Israel turned its back on the truth about God, and substituted their own religious and secular mindset. They persecuted those who stood for the truth. But God did still not abandon them, even though they were running away from Him. Through prophets like Elijah and Elisha He sought to bring the people back to Himself. In several important ways, this runaway society is like our own - a society which once held to and respected the Truth is now seeking to eliminate any claims which God might have on people's lives (May 2009)
A look at Jesus
Mr Paul Young looks at who Jesus Christ was, and what he did (March 2009)
Studies in Isaiah
The Message of Isaiah is a call to faith and trust in the true and faithful God. Isaiah's ministry extended over some 60 years - a time when there were many military threats to Judah. He proclaims prophecies against the surrounding nations and clearly shows that 'The most high rules the Kingdoms of men and gives it to whomever He chooses.' (Daniel 4:25) (January 2009)
The Message of the Cross
The Cross of Christ is a wonderfully wrought and complex work of God which cannot be captured in its fullness from one standpoint alone. This series provides the opportunity to teach the centrality of the Cross to the Christian faith. The cross was no accident of history, rather it was part of Gods plan to redeem his creation, foretold long before it happened (November 2008)
Romans
A series of sermons examining the book of Romans (September - October 2007)
