The Christian Gospel How can I have peace with God?
The Bible teaches that we are in a state of rebellion against God. For most of us, it will not be an overt
fist-shaking exercise. But there is always that feeling that this is my life, that God has no rights over me.
The reason Jesus came was not simply to show us what God is like. He came to provide a way for us to end
our rebellion, and to be reconciled to God.

If evolutionists are to be believed, then the individual has no value. The Bible recoils from such a view of the worth
of individual people. The sense of pointlessness and hopelessness is evidence that are living life in a way we
were not designed for. We are designed to live in fellowship with God.
