We all wear the bracelets, we all have the bookmarks, we all know the story... WWJD?
If someone asks, we're right there with the answer "...it means What Would Jesus Do?"
But do you ask the question? No, I mean really ask the question...
When faced with temptation do we really sit back and ask ourselves with all seriousness
"What Would Jesus Do in this situation?". If you're like most people the normal reaction
is to try by yourself, see how far you get and then if all else fails we'll say a quick
prayer and suddenly expect God to do the work. We do it in exams when we know we haven't
done enough revision so we sit with the paper in front of us and scream a silent prayer
"Lord, please, please, please HELP!!!". What if we'd taken a different approach? What
if we started every morning with a prayer, rather than one when sticky situations arise?
What if we got so close to God that we didn't need to go looking for him when he's needed?
What if in everything we did he was right there doing it too?
