EXODUS - FROM SLAVES TO SONS
Egypt is a picture of a secular world view which says “This world is all there is”. Moses brings the Gospel to his people, telling them of God and another world. Pharaoh has no time for this religious ‘pie in the sky’ - life is about work and pleasure to him, and then you die. The struggle in Exodus is to open people’s minds to the unseen world, and to lead people to worship God - eventually as His Sons, not as slaves. This series runs from April thru June.
